What are your thoughts on the New iTunes 11?

I for one am not very impressed! You lose cover flow, and the ability to resize your album art. Unlike previous versions where everything is not in just one area now your searching over the whole itunes for what you need to do. Its cluttered and instead of just editing one album your stuck at looking at all the other distractions instead of what your trying to edit. What are all of your thoughts on this new itunes?

Option command S, brings back the side view of itunes, but still not 100% the original

I think its garbage, thank god I have two Macs, a PowerBook G4 and MacBook Pro, currently on my PowerBook G4 running the last good copy of iTunes (10.6.3) enjoying Cover Flow and Album Artwork.

As with any major update there is a learning curve.

After about an hour of pullng out hair I don't have anymore I have found most of the features important to me.

Find dups is gone but there is a script from 'Dougs Scripts' that will likely fill the gap.

With color back in the side bar I am happier with the flavor of the view.

Overall I give is a A- for now.

I couldn't agree with you more!

First no airplay mirroring on apple computers older than 18 months

Then the maps mess up

Then the new ipad 4s less than 7 months making us feel like our ipad 3s were a beta test.

I fear without Steve Jobs these guys will never be the same.

Big Failure? No Cover Flow, are you kidding? Boy I'm glad I didn't update! Sometimes when the best gets the best they should leave things as they are but no, always trying to prove better and then no where to go but backwards!

I know the no Cover Flow is a big loss. I hope they bring these things back. We lost so many features with this update. I cant even enlarge the albums by zooming in with the trackpad.

Everything was running and looking perfect. I was even able to set my background to Black.  Now it looks all washed out and unintuitive.  What is with these people that think they have to redesign everything!!! Steve is gone, and there is no one to point their finger and say, "That's awful, back to the drawing board, and bring me something that works!!"

was my favorite way to play music, flip threw my albuns the same way I flip there LP's abd then CD's

WHAT are you people thinking, stock will drop 10% more after this.

Is just an upgrade to take you faster to the store, the icloud could have been updated without any dumb changes

iTunes 11 blows big time!

If they don't even get some basic navigation features right (that were all there before!), how are they supposed to manage some of the more tricky things in their operations?

Today has been another red flag for me. Time to short some more Apple stock...

The first attempt at searching for a song in my library was a TERRIBLE experience. I'll have to give it another whirl tomorrow and hope is not as bad as it seemed at first.

Why  did  they drop coverflow!!
