can't install iOS app from computer

Hello,

I used to be able to install/buy iOS app from computer it seems you can't anymore, it is seriously a waste of time, plus it means you need to have your iOS device all the time next to you, if you don't want to forget to get that app.
If at least the Wishlist was still there, you could add the app there and install it from your iOS device later on, but the Wishlist doesn't exist anymore on the iOS App Store. I used to have all the music app I wanted to buy in the future there, and without warning, that list is gone. I have been reading/watching hours of reviews to select with parsimony  these apps.

Is anyone having the same problem and finding a way around. What I do now it's bookmark them in a folder called 'iOS Download' and then go there from iPad to DL them, but I don't know, it's just not as practical as it used to be.

It kind of makes iTunes useless more and more. As I already use Spotify instead because iTunes kept reorganising my songs files, even tho the option was unticked in preference, making my folder of songs useless if I wanted to use it with some other apps, or through a cloud.

I love Apple products, but I wonder which direction they are going, it's like if Microsoft and apple have swapped their teams since Job is gone.
