Why can't we get iOS 11 on iPad 4th gen.?

I can't put the iOS update on my iPad 4th gen.

Ios11 is 64bit operating system and require a 64bit cpu in the device to work

So I'm running a 32 bit? ****! That dissolved a Lot of frustration. Thank you! Are all the 4th gen iPads 32?

Yes. The iPad 4 has the Apple A6X processor, which was the last 32-bit processor. A7 was the first 64-bit design.

Yes ALL older iPads (iPad 1, 2, 3, 4 and 1st gen iPad Mini ) are all 32-bit hardware iDevices.
