How do i reset an administrator password?

Hi,

How do i reset an administrator password?

It is the only admin on her computer.

 I can login as a seperate 'managed' user is used to login.

I am trying to access an administrator user my daughter set up to activate parental lock (advice from another 15 yr old). 

Now it is blocking her access to all Microsoft applications on her MacBook Air.
