why am i unable to use me.com email on my android phone

Hi. Beginning June 15, 2017, it is no longer possible to log in to your Apple ID from a non-Apple device or app using your password. Now, you must create an app-specific password, and use that on your Android device. Note that this will require you to enable 2-factor authentication for your Apple ID.
