Hi CarlstromDi. If it's an app you had before installing iOS 11, it might be a 32-bit app that cannot run under iOS 11. Check Settings > General > About > Applications. If it's listed there, that is the problem.

Thank you for your help, but the app was not listed under the latest software update.

What happens when you try to open it?

The screen goes black and do nothing.
