MIDI Dynamics Auto Shut

I am curious if anyone else has this issue?

I am trying to keep my drum pad (Maschine Mikro MK2) at a fixed velocity via LPX. With no MIDI region selected, I go to "Dynamics" and set it to 'Fixed'. I add some velocity to make it a little louder. When I play, it's perfectly how I want it. However, when I record a new part of the beat, the Dynamics automatically switches back to default '100%'.
