Dashlane problem

I have had a free dashlane acct. for a few years-- installed on my Mac.  Today I upgrade to Dashlane Premium, unloaded the Dashlane software onto my iPad Air.  But now Dashlane will not let me login to Dashlane on my iPad. Rather it wants me to enter a long long Verification Code that it created and apparently did not save.
