Transposing User Midi Loops?

In continuance of my thread here:

I would like to know how to make midi loops that automatically transpose to the key (like apple loops).
However, this doesn't work as expected.

Take for instance a project in C Major, with a C Major triad that last for 4 bars. If you add this to the library as a loop, and change the key to Ab Major-- the resulting midi file is still a C Major triad, instead of an Ab Major triad.

Furthermore, there are some apple (midi) loops that also do not conform to the key.

Is there any way to do this?
Is this a bug?
