Quite a few sudden MacBook Pro issues...

Ever since my MacBook Pro installed an update (a patch I’m guessing, it was automatic and took under 15 minutes) I have been unable to load web pages in Safari, or anything in the App Store. I have also been unable to boot into recovery or internet recovery, or create a new user from System Preferences. All of these issues persist when in Safe Mode. I’ve done a PRAM reset and I would be fine resetting my Mac completely to fix all of this…if I could get into Recovery. When I try to boot into recovery, I get a no entry sign. I’ve also deleted my Safari preferences and cache, which helped nothing. Sorry for this being a tad jumbled, but I’m rather flustered and confused with all these sudden issues.
