iOS 11 battery life very poor

I have a 6S.  Since upgrading the battery life is very poor.  I have no programs running in the background.  Location services is turned off for all programs except those I am using.  I read some posts about the phone indexing files and I do have 5000 photos but I have never had any battery change with another upgrade.  If indexing why wouldn't it do it when plugging in.  Today I left the house with 67% on a bike ride; I road about 20 minutes and the phone showed 17%.  I was not using the phone and no applications were running in the background.  How can we tell apple to get working on this ASAP and fast.  The battery life has been awful for the entire week since upgrading.

Have you tried a hard reset of your iPhone by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPhone goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?

This will not help cause I turn mine off to go into work and then turn it on in the morning when I get off work and since upgrading to iOS 11.0.2 my battery has drained from 100% to 50% in an hour just updating my photos in google photos.  This issue if apple does not fix it soon I am looking into android which is sad since I have had an iPhone since the 3GS.  This is one of the reasons I think iOS 11 is a trashy operating system and is not ready for everyday use.  Still feels like a beta.  They need to resign iOS 10.3.3 so I can downgrade and this one they had right.

Have you even tried a hard reset of your iPhone?

BTW, I was addressing the Original Poster‘s concerns.
