iCloud contacts not syncing from Mac

For the last couple weeks or so my iCloud contacts no longer sync from my Mac.  What I mean by this if I add a new contact on my Mac laptop it won't sync to any of my other devices which include an iMac, iPad, and iPhone.  I also went to www.icloud.com and don't see it there.  I went to System Preferences/iCloud and viewed that and Contacts and everything else is check marked.

I tested iCloud by placing a new item in my Calendar on my Mac laptop.  It immediately synced to iCloud.com and all other devices so this seems to be an issue with the contacts.

It seems this may have occurred about the time I upgraded to High Sierra so I'm not sure if it's a bug or something that went wrong during my update.  Any idea of what's causing this and how I can fix this?
