MacBook Hard Drive Space

I am trying to establish an offsite back up of all my data which DOES NOT sync with my current hard drive nor iCloud drive.

I would prefer cloud storage so I do not have to move physical hard drives off the premises.

My MacBook Pro with a 500GB hard drive counts the iCloud drive and now my other cloud drives.  The more I move to other cloud services trying to increase available space the less hard drive space I have.

How do I separate my hard drive from my other Cloud Drive?
