A Black MacBook Pro Screen
Hello my Apple family,
I hadn't used my MacBook Pro (17-inch, Mid-2010 ) for about 2 months and it was safely stored in its bag. When I turned it on, while plugged in, I can hear it starting and breathing but the screen stays black. I read various suggestions like reseting memory and connecting to the external monitor but nothing has worked so far.
I have taken good care of this computer, like I have never dropped it and there is no sign of a loose connection between the screen and the rest of the computer.
What could be the problem? Could it be just the screen is dead? Could it be more serious like a graphics card? Could it be, it being in the bag for some time might have contributed to the problem?
I thank you all in advance.
