About This Mac still shows MacOS Sierra. However, I ran update for OS 11. And under updates, it now shows none are needed. How/when will the update be reflected correctly?

macOS Sierra runs on Mac notebooks or desktop computers. Its current version is 10.12.6. The, yet to be released, High Sierra version will be 10.13.x.

iOS 11 runs on iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch). It is NOT called "MacOS Sierra" as per your post.

So what operating system are you actually referring to and on what device is it running on?
