Can I still shop for iOS apps from the iTunes s...

While I always thought iTunes was bloated, with the latest upgrade I can no longer do my shopping for iOS apps in the iTunes store on my Mac. I never purchase or shop for apps on my iPhone. The screen is too tiny. I need my 27 inch monitor for shopping for apps.

This should help.

When you started iTunes 12.7 for the first time you would've seen:

iTunes_Changes.jpg

Which links out to Changes in the new iTunes - Apple Support. Reverting iTunes won't fix this issue as this seems to be related to iOS 11 coming out and the App Store changes with it.

I saw that. But I don't want to shop for apps with a tiny little screen on my stupid iPhone. I want to use my 27 inch iMac monitor as I have always done. That notice is no help at all.

The instructions say:

To browse the App Store on your computer, follow these steps:

  1. Open iTunes, then click iTunes Store.
  2. Click the More Options icon in the upper-left hand corner of the window.

I'm stuck on step 2. There is no "More Options" icon in the upper-left hand corner of the window.

Not helpful.

There no more Apps with iTunes. Don't like the change go here Product Feedback - Apple and tell Apple why you think it a bad move. This is a user to user support page and no one here is Apple, so we can't change what they have done, but inform you of it.

This is at your own risk as I don't know the effects it could have with iOS 11, but you can downgrade following these steps:

1. Use Activity Monitor to quit any activate iTunes

2. Find your activate iTunes library and rename it to something like 'iTunes_OLD' (you'll need to recreate the library)

3. Run sudo rm -r /Applications/iTunes.app to remove the current iTunes

3. Go to Download iTunes 12.6.2 for macOS (then download/install this)

4. Setup the new library (may require to move some content over manually from the old one)

Then you'll get your Apps back in iTunes (make sure to turn off auto update).

not only that. I prefer not using my data to download the apps on to my phone when I already have it stored on my computer.

I agree - there is NO such option.

And no only is every iPhone screen too small for purchasing, try rearranging dozens of apps on one.
