What will cause account patrol?
- If a buyer intentionally creates disputes by frequently reporting cases without offering any supporting evidence, the buyer account will be patrolled. This may result in a warning; repeated offenses could result in the buyer account being blacklisted or closed.
- If a buyer account is registered by a seller and this same seller intentionally adds positive feedback to his seller account, the buyer account will be patrolled. This could result in the buyer account being closed.
- If a buyer trades privately with a seller, and a dispute should occur, the buyer account will be patrolled. DHgate will not protect the buyer and will not address buyer complaints. Repeated offenses could result in the buyer account being closed.
- If a buyer engages in fraudulent transactions, arbitrage, and/or malicious disputes, the buyer account will be patrolled. This could result in the blacklisting of or closing of the account.
- Overall, a buyer is expected to conduct business responsibly and honestly with sellers, otherwise the account is subject to patrol.
- Buyers will not threaten to leave a seller negative feedback with the intention of getting extra service or goods. If this should occur, the negative feedback will be deleted and the buyer’s account will be patrolled. This could result in the blacklisting of or closing of the account.
