Manage YouTube notifications
YouTube notifications let you know when there are new videos and updates from your favorite channels and other content. We'll send you notifications for channels you're subscribed to and may also send notifications based on your interests. You can use the instructions below to adjust your notifications or turn them off completely..Get updates from specific channels
When you subscribe to a channel, you'll automatically get notifications with highlights of its activity and see any new videos in your Subscriptions feed. You can change your notification settings to let you know every time a channel publishes content or turn them off completely.
- Go to the channel that you want to manage notifications for.
- If you're not subscribed, click the Subscribe button.
- Click the bell icon.
- A dialog box will appear, allowing you to select to receive All notifications.
- You can also modify how you're notified by visiting Manage settings.
- Click Save.
If you unsubscribe and then re-subscribe to a channel, your notification settings will be reset. If you'd like to receive a notification for every upload, make sure to turn on all notifications.
