bluetooth mouse lags or disconnects

Hello,

I am currently using new MacBook pro 2016 13" with i5 intel and macOS Sierra 10.12.2. When I connected to my Logitech MX Master and Sony Premium Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones (MDR1000X/B), the mouse always disconnects or lags. It also happens in macOS Sierra 10.12.1

I am wondering if anyone has the same problem or anyone knows the solutions to solve it.

Please help me!

Thanks,

Nathan

Hello, kinfromminneapolis.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

I understand your mouse lags or disconnects when connected to your MacBook Pro. Does this only happen when you only connect the mouse or when it's both devices? Try one without the other. I got a few helpful suggestions, check them out: Potential sources of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth interference

Try them on other devices if possible. Check the manufacturer to see if there's any updated software.

Get help connecting a Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch Some great tips here like unpairing and then pairing.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Cheers!

It only happens when I connect both headphones and mouse to my MacBook. Also, I have tried them both on my friend's Mac book pro 2015 and they work perfectly together.

Hello again, kinfromminneapolis.

I would take these steps next then. How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac and macOS Sierra: Start up in safe mode. This would help narrow it down to determine if it's the bluetooth devices or software on the Mac.

I would also Contact Support.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Cheers!

Do you have the solution?

Here is the same

I'm having the same problem with my 2016 15" Macbook Pro. The bluetooth is pretty much worthless with more than 1 device. If I have my MX Master and Audio Technica headphones connected, the mouse will hardly work. The best I've been able to do is the MX Master and an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard, and even then the mouse has connection issues if the keyboard connects first.

I had the same problem with my Apple bluetooth mouse and bluethooth keyboard from an older iMac. I am using the old peripherals with my new MacBook Retina 12", early 2016 with Sierra 10.12.3. My solution was to remove the batteries from the bluetooth keyboard, put them back in again, and reconnect it. Unbelievable. Problem solved.

I have this problem with my Logitech MX Master (BT) and Sony MDR-ZX330BT headphones, on a 2016 MacBook Pro 15" 16GB w/ 4GB Graphics on Sierra 10.12.3.  Activating the headphones kills the mouse connection. In addition, the mouse will often not re-connect when waking up from sleep, with no other Bluetooth devices on.  The solution is simple, just open Bluetooth Preferences, and poof, there it is. Must be a software problem.

I previously had a 2015 MacBook Pro Retina with El Capitan, which worked perfectly.  Same devices, same desk at my office, same level of interference.

I've done all of the troubleshooting tips, deleted prefs, and reset the Bluetooth module.  Still fails consistently.

I have exactly the same setup, except I have Bose QC35 bluetooth headphones. My MX Master keeps disconnecting for one or two seconds and then it reconnects and works fine for few minutes, it s quite annoying.
