Smart Keyboard iPad Pro language

Every time I connect my keybord in the ipad, is suggesting me to install the language keyboard on 'Tagalog', which is the language that is speaking in Filipinas, but my iPad is working with the language Spanish and English. I don't know how to remove this suggestion every time

Could you use the camera icon to post a screen shot here of the message you are seeing?

Hi Tom, this is the pop up I receive everytime I conncet the Smart Keyboard. Any advice how to dismiss it for ever?

in settings/general/keyboards/keyboard do have only English and Spanish on the list?  What does it say over at the right side for Hardware Keyboard when the smart keyboard is connected?

Hi Tom, this is the funny thing, because when is connected I only have mark this languages that you can see on the image. I'm leaving in Spain and I have not install 'tagalog' language or use ir anytime. What do think about ?

Hi Tempelt0n. First, as Tom asked, what languages are shown in Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard? You must connect the keyboard to see these settings. Second, are your Region and Time Zone set correctly for Spain?

Edit: I think you did show the Hardware Keyboard settings. My mistake, sorry.

Thanks!  Very strange behavior.  I assume you have not installed any 3rd party keyboard apps like Keyman or Gboard, etc?

Have you tried a reset of your device?

Thanks, Tom don't have installed a 3rd keyboard or similar, just this original apple device

I've tried to restart the iPad as you propose and I've restore the preliminary settings on the iPad as well and still same mistake

I just doble checked and yy region (Spain) and language (Spanish) and time zone (Madrid) are correct, and still same problem

I must say, I have changed the keyboard at the Apple Store for a new one in less than one week, and still the same problem with this second one

I've never heard of anything like this before.  Am stumped for now.  What happens if you add the tagalog keyboard?  Does it show up in the keyboard list?   If so, and you remove it, I wonder if the message would come back.

I have exactly the same Tagalog issue, this is my second Smart Keyboard, the first one was replaced at Apple Store due the same problem. I also restated from zero my iPad Pro and same situation. Yesterday I tried with a Logitech keyboard and works great! No Tagalog message at all. Smart Keyboard also is doing more failures, when I'm typing suddenly erase all my words...

Very poor product form Apple, I'm really upset

After try same steps that you've describe the issue persist, so this morning I've decided to give back the Smart Keyboard to the Apple Store and they've offer me the solution with another Logitech keyboard (keys-to-go, thin and small) ... :(

In the other hand, the solution they've offered me is to keep the Tagalog keyboard installed, but without use it ... i just say I was really surprise with this

Yes I did it before, leave Tagalog there but...

I have last update from yesterday night: apple support guy concluded that the issue is with the iPad not with the keyboards, he named this as a possible interconnection failure...

I sugested that after see the same issue with a brand new Logitech keyboard

I suggest you to discuss this with your dealer or support responsible
