iMac suddenly slow

I am running an iMac (2011) with Sierra. I have suddenly started having performance issues. Suspecting memory issues, I have run the Hardware diagnostics, Activity Monitor, I have started cleaning up my disk space slowly (as performance allows) and I'm still unsure of the cause. So, I have attached below the EtreCheck report.

The iMac limps along following a reboot and then seems to get worse with time as applications are opened. This morning i received an application message "Your system has run out of memory." I have 20GB physical memory installed and never had any issues until the last couple of days. I would appreciate any advice!
