Got my iPad iTunes selected on Australia store,...

Ok, I tried to buy a song that turned out to only be available in the Australia iTunes Store. Next thing I know, my iPad iTunes app is stuck on Australia iTunes where I can't buy a **** thing.

Help get me back to USA iTunes.

Change App Store

1. Tap "Settings"

2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"

3.Tap "View Apple ID"

4. Enter your user name and password.

5. Tap "Country/Region."

6. Tap "Change Country/Region"

7. Select the region where you are located.

8. Tap "Done".

Change App Store

If you have a subscription to Apple Music, or are on a family plan, just changing your country/region won't work without cancelling your subscription and leaving your family plan.

Another way to resolve this is to, on your device:

1. Open your browser (Safari)
2. In the URL space, type in "https://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/alan-jackson/id16365"
3. This will open up your iTunes app and may present you an option to change your store.
   1. Click yes
4. This may require you to sign back in with your apple ID.
5. You should now be back in the US ITunes Store on your iOS device

Now, I had to do this a couple times to get it to take, and I chose Alan Jackson because I know his music doesn't stream outside the US Store Apple Music.. feel free to try it with another artist if you want, I just know it worked for me.. literally about 10 minutes ago.

The OP asked their question 4 years ago. There was no Apple Music at that time, and the answer provided was correct at that time. Your response would be valid if someone has Apple Music now, but is a little different if all you are trying to do is change countries.

Well, as I accidently did the same thing about 15 minutes ago and had to figure out how to get back to the US store.. thanks?
