Deleting message history on the iWatch

I've noticed that messages that I received are not deleted automatically when I delete them from the iPhone. The only way to delete messages is individually and when you have a number of messages to delete, they can take a significant amount of time. This also causes a problem with security and privacy,  since messages deleted from the iPhone should not appear anywhere else.  Are there any workarounds to bulk delete message history from the iWatch?  An example is the Pebble watch, where shutting down and restarting the watch deletes all history.

Hi there,

At present, the only way to delete iMessages from WATCH are to left-swipe on the name of the thread / person in the main view, and hit Trash.

The behaviour of iMessage on the WATCH matches that of iMessage on other iOS and OS X devices; they need to be deleted independently, and do not get trashed on all devices when a delete occurs on one device.

Cheers

Thanks, EdisonW... Was hoping that there was some way to bulk delete all messages, or at least have it mirror the iPhone. Failing that, an option in future iOS updates.

Hi

If you would like Apple to consider changing how the Messages app manages message deletions, you may wish to submit feedback here:

Yes agreed it's one SMS now no select all option available at all.

That needs to be fixed. Deleting from one device should delete from all devices!
