Mapbeast

I have an iMac running OS10.10.5.  I inadvertently installed a thing called Mapbeast that has taken over my Chrome browser.  I want to get rid of it as it feels like bad news but I can't find it in Applications or anywhere else when I search for Mapbeast. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Chrome but that didn't work as Mapbeast was still there  after reinstallation. Has anyone had experience of it and knows how I can get rid of it?
