LG True Color Pro 31MU97

Hi!

I've just buy a 4K monitor LG 31MU97 and connect it to my MacPro 2013 (6core-D500-MacOS 10.12.6)

 

 

The monitor works fine but when i install the software True Color Pro 3.7.6 (last version on LG site) the application hang... The monitor is connected with original mDP-DP cable and original USB 3.0 cable, i can see the icon app on the top bar but the app won't start.. sometimes it's closed after 20 seconds, sometims remain here for more time....

 

Without this app i can calibrate the monitor!! :-(

 

Anyone have this issue? The LG support is very bad....

 

Yesterday i also reinstall the MacOS and after the i just install the Tru Color Pro  app with the same results...

 

Moreover i also install x-rite i1 Display Pro software with the LG True Color Pro (in order to have correct drivers?), but x-rite software works fine but i can't calibrate correctly the monitor... and the LG sowftware is always hang...

As in lg-31MU97-B ?

And your using LG Mac_TCP_3.7.6?

What version of macOS are you using?

Have you tried disabling SIP and then installing true color?

 

Have you tried contacting LG support?

 

FYI LG calibrates the monitors are calibrated at the factory.

My monitor is LG 31MU97 , i think is one of the first models without thunderbolt....

Yes i use the 3.7.6 version with macOS 10.12.6

The LG support service says that the sofware is good and the problem is of my mac.... :-(

 

The only thing that i don't tray anymore is disabling the SIP...

 

but i also try the TCP 3.7.6 on my mac mini server via VNC and without disable SIP and the software start normally....
