Xbox One X (VS) iMac 580 for gaming

Hello,

I am curious of the gaming capabilities of the iMac 27inch with Radeon 580 graphics. I actually have and am using the iMac with 580 right now, I've gamed on it many times too.

Most people state that the iMac (or the 580) can run games at 1440P max settings with steady fps. Just not so much 4K unless the quality of the graphics is turned down.

However, Apple states that the iMac has 5.5 Teraflops of GPU performance.

Microsoft says the Xbox One X has 6 Teraflops of GPU performance.

I know the Xbox is designed and coded specifically for gaming, but if there is only a 0.5 different in GPU teraflop performance, will it really be the changing factor between true 4K gaming and 1440P?

**Also, I'm talking from a pure hardware standpoint... considering I can just download Windows 10 on Bootcamp if needed.**
