macbook pro 2016 touchbar dead pixel

Hello everyone

I just wondered if some of you experienced dead pixels with MacBook Pro retina 15' 2016 touchbar ?

I don't want to make bad ads for Apple so I will not mention how many times I changed it but I had several rmbp with dead pixels every time (More than 5 machines)

Am I alone ?

Apple has been very nice with me every time by exchanging it but I feel like I should maybe wait for the next generation ?

After two MBP screen replacements due to retina coating failure I convinced Apple that it would be in their best interests to completely replace my MBP instead of just replacing the screen - which they did.  Within a month of receiving my new MBP my wife's MBA died due to a faulty motherboard.  I convinced Apple to replace the machine instead of just the motherboard - which they did.  Apple were generally quite good about all of this but wasn't a completely painless task.  They tried to talk their way out replacing the MBA and I had to threaten them with a breach of the Consumer Protection Act, (I'm in New Zealand) to get this machine replaced.  Some countries like New Zealand stipulate that any electrical appliance from a toaster to a computer to a shaver must not be faulty, even if it outside the warranty period.  If such a fault is deemed to be due to poor manufacturing or even a common fault (research online looking for those with similar problems is a good starting point) then the consumer must either have the appliance completely replaced or be offered their money back in full.  I know the UK and Australia have similar laws in place.  I would presume the USA has something akin to this as well.  After all of that drama I was in happy computer land - for a few short months .  It now appears my dear Applephiles that my four month old MBP has a blown/dead pixel right in the middle of the screen.  Since I do media for a job this is extremely annoying, almost as annoying as the laborious task of going back to Apple to get this all sorted - again.  I feel like I'm taking crazy pills right now.  BTW I would've spent easy 15hrs to get the last problem(s) sorted and now I'm looking at another several hours to get this problem sorted.  Persistence is the key.  Don't back down and do your research.  Consumer law and online forums containing those with similar problems offer ideal evidence that product is faulty or failing and this evidence can then be used as means to get the product completely replaced and not just fixed.
