updating to the official ios 11 update upon off...

I'm currently running the ios 11 beta on my 6th gen ipod touch and I'm just wondering, once the official ios 11 update comes out, can I just remove the beta profile from my ipod once the official update comes out? Or do I have to roll back to ios 10.3.3 to get official updates again? Because if for whatever reason there's gonna be another ios 11 beta that comes out after the official update and I don't wanna get another beta update.
