Computer dropping Internet

My macbook is working fine, except there are times where it randomly freezes using the internet.  I'll be using the internet and it is working fine.  But occasionally (more frequently each week) it will load about the first 1/10th of the bar (under the web address), and freeze for several minutes before reconnecting.  The icon showing internet connection is still active and the internet itself is still functioning, it's just my computer for whatever reason stops downloading from it.  When it happens, it happens on all browsers from Chrome to Safari. 

Sometimes when I disconnect and reconnect to the internet, it starts right back up.

Suggestions?
