Macbook will not turn on at all

I went to restart my Early 2011 Macbook, due to it not functioning properly, by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it. After I reconnected the battery, the macbook would not turn on. I tried this 7 times and it would still not turn on. I tried the SMC and PRAM reset and no change. But, I will say this. The macbook green lights on the side still light up and the macbook still charges. Does anyone know a fix or what I should repair.
