Drag and drop starts pops

Hi,

I am seeking for help regarding the drap and drop functionality on my 2017-13" MBP

In fact, when I try to do a drag and drop instead of moving the file, a quick look pop-up window appears instead

Please note that I'm facing this issue since the first day and did not install any app that may impact the way macOS operates,

post scriptum: I am mainly facing this issue from the desktop

Further to your comment I did some searches on YouTube and it appears that many people are facing the same issue,

From my side, I must admit I am very very disappointed as it has been a long time I did not buy a Mac because the two previous computers just died because of many hardware failures... I can't believe that Apple is doing this to me again...

I'll take the device to store I bought it from to get the issue solved... hopefully.

Apple, BRAVO and congratulations for what you're doing to us... and I hope that sometimes you will invest a little bit on Quality Control.
