Our website uses a timer to track and log stude...

The site needs a constant connection, but Apple devices don't seem to work. Any insight?

Hard to say, without knowing anything about the website, how its designed, what exactly its expects from a browser to calculate the time etc...

Safari, and most web Browsers for iOS follow a defined browser standard, so its more likely something that is not exactly standard with how the website is calculating the time or what it tries to do with the connected device.

What browsers for instance does it work on correctly?  Only computer browsers?

Does it work on Android tablets and phones?

What does not happen when using an iPad or iPhone web browser?

What exactly does "don't connect well" mean in relation to how the website operates?

Thanks for the reply. Basically each section of training has a timer that the student needs to run down to zero. Once it hits zero it gives a check mark signifying that the section is complete.

What is happening when students use apple devices (ipad and iphone) is that it allows them to run the timer down to zero say from 5 minutes and gives a check mark, but then when the student leaves the section and comes back it still shows a bit of time remaining say 20 seconds. It is like the apple devices are not connected the whole time or something. It only seems to do this on ipad and iphone (any browser) which is why I am thinking it is related to somehow they connect and receive/ transmit data. The only complaints we have had is iPad and Iphone so I don't think other tablets and phones are a problem.
