In trying to update my mac I get the message:&n...

I'm trying to update my MacBook Pro.

As soon as I start the update I get the following message: "Safari" cannot be open during installation.

Then I get this message: Click Continue to quit “Safari” and begin the update. The application will open when the update is complete.

I click continue and then nothing happens.

What do I need to do in order to install the update?
