I pad2
I have an ipad 2. Been trying to download an update. Its IOS 9.3.5.
It wont download all the way. It says Software update failed. Says error occurred while downloading.
It gives you no more information on what the problem is. Any suggestions on what i can try doing?
Thank you

Go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage. Under Storage tap Manage Storage.
Find the iOS update in the list of apps.
Tap the iOS update, then tap Delete Update.
Go to Settings > General > Software Update and download the latest iOS update.

9.3.5 is the highest version of iOS that can be used on the iPad 2. If that's what you are trying to update to and fails Over The Air, will need to do it with the iTunes program on a computer (Mac preferred).
From what previous iOS version are you upgrading?
we have 2 ipads. One of my ipads updated fine. i didn't have to go through itunes. Not sure why other ipad not updating but thanks for your reply. Any other suggestions is appreciated
Thank you
Are you sure this is an iPad 2?
Your signature states iOS 5.0.1.
It maybe possible you have an older, first generation, 2010 iPad.
That cannot be upgraded past iOS 5.1.1
Does your iPad have a front and rear camera lens on it?
iPad 2 and later iPad models are the only iPads that came with cameras.
The 2010 iPad 1 had no cameras.
I try to update through itunes and it dont let me. It says theres not enough space on my computer for backup. Even though my computer has 737 GB of free space available still
yes I am 100 percent sure its an ipad 2. Yes it has front and back camera
