Problems with credit cards.

It’s telling me that my security code (CVV number) is invalid, but I’m sitting here looking at my card, and all the right information is in. My card is not overdrawn or in the negative. But it doesn’t have much money on it. Why will it not work? I have the iPhone 7 Plus I have the iOS 11.0.3
