Splitting Print Driver PKG files

Looking for some advice on how to solve a problem i have with PKG files that hold print drivers.

The HP print driver PKG file is over 500mb in size. I only need a driver for one particular device but when i install across many MAC devices, the whole 500MB PKG file is sent.

Does anyone have any advice on how i can choose the particular files I need and split the PKG file to make the file size smaller?
