Watch is not  registering movement

My watch ( series 1 ) is not  registering movement on the activity app but is registering exercise and standing. My watch has the latest update

The following steps may help, having previously resolved the same issue for other users:

• Check and update your personal information, to ensure that it remains accurate:
  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Health > Edit - tap and adjust items, then tap on Done.

• More generally, for more accurate estimations by the Activity app and Workout app, it may also help to calibrate your Apple Watch, including resetting any existing calibration data:
