Macbook Pro slow download speeds

I"m having an issue with an older MacBook Pro with "slower" download speeds.  it's a MacBook Pro 8,2 running Sierra.  I recently upgraded my ISP to 100 / 100 Mbs and I'm achieving 120 / 120 with my new MacBook Pro (14,2) but my older system can only achieve 80 down but I can get 120 mbs up.  I'm getting the same results on both wired and wireless connections which tells me there may be a problem with the inbound IP stack on this system.  Since I'm not seeing any issue on other systems and it's both wired and wireless, it doesn't appear to be a network issue. Any idea what might be limiting download speeds?
