unauthorized purchase

I just got an email notifying me that I had purchased Dropbox Plus.

I haven't.

When I went to the provided link, I was unable to log in, and they requested all my info.

I did not provide it.

Not after exiting, and being perfectly able to log into my AppleID and Apple account just fine.

Where do I get help, who do I contact?

The email address should be reportphishing@apple.com , not sure if phishing@apple.com will also work

Keep a copy of the email if you can and send it to ... phishing@apple.com     Then delete

If you have already deleted it and haven't clicked on anything, forget it.

Thank you KP.    No mine doesn't work.   But yours does.

But the idea was right.

will do.  that's what it looked like to me - phishing.

otherwise, would have had to be some good hacking, since I have two step id.  I couldn't even log back in here without entering the code off my phone.

it's a hassle, but I reckon it's worth it

i received email receipt fom iTunes store for an unauthorized $49.90 purchase that I did not make.  How do I cancel this purchase and remove my credit card info>

You are sure that it’s a genuine email from Apple and not a phishing attempt trying to get your account and payment details ?

Phishing and similar emails : Phishing & Other Suspicious Emails

Genuine iTunes emails : Identifying legitimate emails from the iTunes Store - Apple Support

Viewing your account's purchase history : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store - Apple Support (on an iOS device you can view the last 90 days purchases via https://reportaproblem.apple.com)

If it's a genuine email and it shows on your account's purchase history, and nobody else has access to your account or devices/computers, then contact iTunes Support : https://support.apple.com/contact . And change your account's password https://appleid.apple.com - after changing it : What to do after you change your Apple ID email address or password - Apple Support.

If it is a phishing email you could forward it to Apple : reportphishing@apple.com , and then delete it.

If it's a phishing attempt and you clicked on the link in the email and entered your account id and password then change your password immediately

I going through the same situation have you found out any information on this because the suppose app I'm purchased is $50 and when I try reporting it apple wants all my information including social security and Credit card #.

It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond to, or otherwise act on the email.

Well what I did I'm not sure if it's correct but I forwarded the message to reportphishing@apple.com

Yes, that is the address to report such phishing attempts. The key thing to remember is that you not interact with the perpetrators of the scam.

No of course not I just hope no information of mine was taken I actually flagged the email and deleted from my phone

Nope, the fact that you received the phishing email, in no way indicates compromised information.

I'm glad thank you so much for your help!!:)

You're quite welcome.
