File in iCloud will not download to my computer

Somehow my VMWare Virtual Machine (Windows 8) was transferred to my iCloud along with the rest of the Documents directory.  I haven't used VMWare on my Mac in a couple of years since I rarely have the need to use Win-Doze.  The Virtual Machine won't work from the cloud and has to reside locally on your Mac.  I have been trying to download this file back to my Mac since yesterday with no luck.  It's a large file.....about 35 gigs.  No error messages....just nothing happens.

It says "Zero bytes" have been copied...and it's been that way since last night.  There is PLENTY of room on that 8TB hard drive, too.

Any suggestions?
