what MacBook should I get?

I'm a student and I'm going to be starting my A levels soon. I'm having difficulty in deciding which MacBook I should buy. Both the MacBook and 13" MacBook Pro (no touch bar) start at the same price. So which one should I get since I'll mostly be browsing, taking notes, streaming and maybe some light gaming. I keep on changing my mind

The advantages:

The MB is a bit smaller and lighter.

The MBP is significantly faster and has two or four Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports.

I would get the MBP unless the ultimate portability is the priority, especially since you're going to do some gaming.

Whichever notebook you get, I strongly recommend upgrading to 16GBs of RAM, as it can never be upgraded afterward, and OSes and apps just keep getting more and more RAM hungry.
