Old iPad 2 failing to restore

So, I've been trying to recover this broken iPad. Apparently, it has been jailbroken, if i remember correctly, it was on ios 5-6 and it has no physical damage other than a small chip on the screen. I tried my windows pc first, tried restoring and updating it, and it keeps throwing error 4005, I've also tried DFU mode but to no avail. I updated my itunes and tried the same thing that i said last time, I also tried it on my macbook pro, which did not work. It is throwing error 4005 every time, is there any kind of solution to this? I'd like to get this old chugger working again.
