How to update apps on my iPhone using iTunes?

Hi,

My iPhone 6 has Wifi troubles now after serving me faithfully for 2 years. I am hence compelled to update apps through iTunes (12.5.1) but I can't find the option to do that in this version. Can someone please help me with this?

Thanks

After you have opened iTunes, you can take a look at your apps loaded on the computer. From there, they will identify apps that need updating, and you can select the tab on the upper center of the screen and select Update, and you can update individual apps, or update all.

On iTunes 12.5.2.36 there is no update icon at the top of the apps page.

I used iTunes 12.5.2 and have now updated to 12.5.3, and if you tap on Apps in the sidebar, you will see the apps list in your library, and along the top you will see LIbrary, Update, App Store. Or at least you should.

All I see is the name of my iPad in that location.  No sign of library, updates, app store etc.

If you have the iPad connected to iTunes and have selected the iPad, that is why. The image I posted last year shows iTunes without a device connected and selected. If you eject the iPad, by tapping on the up arrow in the sidebar, you should be able to select apps below the menu bar and then find what I showed. From there, you can tap on Updates, then you will see what apps need updating, then in the bottom right corner, you can tap Update All Apps.
