Missing pictures

I am missing a number of pictures from my icloud library. They were once in icloud. What do I do? I did NOT delete them. Please help!!!!

will help.  Other than that, I'm not sure what other advice I can offer.  According to the "Keep only what you want" section of the same article: A photo stays in the Recently Deleted album for 30 days and then they're gone forever.
