My Apple Watch series 2 is bugging out (Digital...

I am not sure what is happening or when this sub tired but I started to notice that many strange things are staring to happen to my watch as if it has a mind of its own and all of the problems seem to be centred around the Digital Crown.

- Siri activating randomly

- Digital Crown working one minute then not the next (scrolling is fine)

- Digital crown will seem to register a press down and go back and forth as if I’m pressing down.

i am suspecting it could be water damage but I dont take it in the water much and only shower with it once in a blue moon , as well as this the reason I think it might not be water damage is that this is happening at random intervals and periods (sometimes it’s happening every 5 seconds and other times  every 5-10 minutes)

please help me and if you could that would be appreciated.

i keep it locked with a passcode most of the time now so that I can see the time and not get bothered by Siri the whole time.

Make a genius bar appointment with Apple for an evaluation.

Hi

The symptoms that you have described are consistent with your Apple Watch believing that the Digital Crown is being operated. Operation of the Digital Crown can be affected by substances like dust. If it has stopped operating as expected, then it may help to clean it by following the steps here:

It may also help to restart your Apple Watch (if necessary, by force restarting it):

If the issue persists, then I suggest that you contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available, if required), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider with a view to arranging for your Apple Watch to be inspected and, if recommended, serviced:
