New MB and desktop linked to MBP
I have just bought a MacBook to replace an old Air. After signing in to icloud . to link up accounts, I've found the desktop on the new Mac has replicated my Mac book pro. I'm not sure I like this- are these synced? Can I change this?
Does this look familiar? Add your Desktop and Documents files to iCloud Drive - Apple Support
If you elected to migrate your User Account from the old MacBook Air and then sign in to that account on the new MacBook, then that's what it does.
If you don't like that Desktop's appearance, of course you can change it to whatever you want.
