How to connect two external Displayport monitor...
I'd like to connect two Displayport monitors to my new Macbook Pro 15" (2017). I have four Thunderbolt 3 connectors to use but I'd like to keep it to only one. My hope is to find an adapter that goes from Thunderbolt 3 to Displayport and connect that to the first monitor. Then I'd like to daisy chain (DP-out to DP-in) the second monitor to the first monitor. Of course I want to the two displays to be different (i.e. display 2 does not mirror display 1) as the intention is to increase the viewing real estate to be more efficient while working.
Can this be done? Is there a better way to do it?
