MacBook air stuck in another time zone

Hi

 

My MacBook Air seems to be stuck in another time zone.

 

There are two problem areas.

 

Safari bases my searches on the other location.

 

Also, the time stamp on Messages appears from the other time zone.

 

I've checked System Preferences, Date and Time and they are accurate.

 

Unsure where else to look.

If I understand correctly, your MacBook Air is stuck using an incorrect time zone. If the time zone setting is correct, one thing you may want to do is reset the NVRAM. I would recommend you read these articles and use them to help troubleshoot the issue.
