Charging is very Slow

Hi everyone,

the charging of my Watch series 2 is very slow after updating the watch os 4. it takes hardly eight hours to charge for full charge. But before upgrading (in watch os 3) it will takes only 1 to 1.5 hours of 10% remaining.

Can anyone feeling the same issue? Is there any bug in watch os 4?

Follow the instructions here, including contacting Apple Support (mail-in service may be available, if required), making a Genius Bar reservation or visiting an Apple Authorised Service Provider if necessary:

• If your Apple Watch won't charge or it won't turn on - Apple Support

Be sure to use only an Apple or MFi-certified USB power adapter or third-party accessory in conjunction with the Magnetic Charging Cable when charging your Apple Watch.

Thanks for your reply!

I am using my original charger cable along it came with the watch.

before 2 days before upgrading to watchos 4 it was absolutely good. Thats my point.

As referenced in my previous reply, if the steps in the support article do not help, then contact Apple Support (remote diagnostics and/or mail-in service may be available, if required), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider for assistance:

• Apple Watch Service Answer Center - Apple Support

If the issue is found to be software-related, then Apple will be able to determine that and advise you accordingly.
