Where did deleted apps go?

I went to the Genius Bar today to get help upgrading my iPad to v 10.3.  I needed help because I didn't have nearly enough available memory for the update.  So the guy removed a bunch of "native" apps, to free up memory.  He said when the update was finished I could easily reinstall the apps onto the iPad.

The update went smoothly.

I have looked high and low and cannot find the missing apps to reinstall them.  They are not in the App Store site.  Specifically the music app, the tips app and the iTunes Store app.  I don't currently have any music on the iPad but would like to load some in.  Where do I find the apps?
